The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of payroll legislation, Fair Work Awards, and the NES, with experience in managing end-to-end national payroll functions.
A high degree of accuracy, compliance, and customer service is expected across all states. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to regulatory obligations.
The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities to drive process improvements and system enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in a payroll role, ideally within HR or Finance teams
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Fair Work Awards, and the NES
* Experience with iChris/Chris21 software
* High attention to detail and exceptional time-management skills
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
