**Facilities Services**:
- delivers office fit-out projects in the department's owned and leased facilities;
- plans and coordinates major and minor capital works including significant modifications to court buildings and replacement of major building plant and equipment;
- coordinates maintenance activities in owned and leased facilities and property;
- manages departmental accommodation leases;
- provides fire safety advice across the department; and
- coordinates fleet operations, including monitoring and reporting.
About the Role
The position has operational responsibility to coordinate, plan, deliver and report against assigned capital and maintenance projects and programs. The position reports to an AO7 Principal Infrastructure Program Coordinator and will work closely with Department of Energy and Public Works (DHEW) and QBuild to deliver capital and maintenance projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, plan, monitor and deliver annual planned and backlog maintenance programs.
- Lead and co-ordinate delivery of assigned construction and maintenance projects and programs for the department across its statewide built infrastructure portfolio, ensuring delivery of these services to agreed standards.
- Ensure assigned projects and programs of work are managed in accordance with the department's strategy, policies, systems, and procedures, and according to the Government's Capital Works and Maintenance Management Frameworks and other relevant whole-of-Government policy frameworks.
- Optimise alliances and partnerships with key internal / external stakeholders and service providers (e.g. DEPW / QBuild), and contribute to development and implementation of innovative strategies to meet the department's facilities services requirements.
- Identify emerging issues, risks, and priorities that may impact project delivery and proactively respond with strategies to address these impacts.
- Monitor, analyse, forecast, and report on project performance to ensure project delivery targets are achieved as planned.
- Provide advice to the Principal Infrastructure Program Coordinator and Branch management on assigned infrastructure project delivery status, expenditure forecasts, risks, and emerging issues.
- Monitor and report on the department's electricity consumption.
- Other duties as required to fulfil the objectives of the Branch and Department.
