Role Summary
The Staff Allocator position plays a crucial role in the efficient management of nursing staff within the hospital's departments. This involves ensuring that wards and clinical services have adequate personnel to provide quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with wards, clinical services, and nursing agencies to coordinate the replacement of nurses, ward clerks, and patient attendants.
* Working closely with the Nursing Services Workforce Planning Unit leadership team to engage supplementary staffing resources.
* Managing all clerical duties associated with running the Staffing Allocations Office, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements

* Proven experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Pragmatic and confident communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
* A high degree of attention to detail and professionalism, with the ability to analyze and problem-solve.
* Excellent computer literacy in MS Office Suite, including advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other relevant systems.
