Events Manager role at Loreto Normanhurst. This is a temporary full-time position commencing in October 2025 until the end of May 2026. The role is part of the Advancement Team and reports to the Director of Advancement. 
About the Opportunity 
We are seeking an engaging and dynamic Events Manager to develop and deliver events for our community including parents, alumnae, prospective families, and students. 
Responsibilities 
Develop event briefs and collaborate with the Director of Advancement to ideate and deliver events with outstanding guest experiences. 
Prepare and manage event budgets and financial reconciliations. 
Implement and manage various aspects of event planning, including sourcing and booking venues, preparing event invitations and booking links, budgeting, logistics, and oversight. 
Attend events and ensure seamless execution. 
Flexibility for out-of-hours work, including evenings and weekends. 
The Ideal Candidate 
Qualifications and experience in event planning and management. 
Experience with event booking and ticketing platforms (Trybooking is highly desirable). 
Superb interpersonal skills and ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships. 
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, problem solve and achieve results in a timely manner. 
Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database use and event management software. 
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and take initiative. 
Experience in a school environment or similar role is highly desirable but not essential.
