Our client, a leading infrastructure contractor delivering major rail and transport projects across Australia, is seeking Rail Labourers to support rail maintenance works on a key track upgrade project in Tasmania.
About The Role
You will be part of a rail maintenance team delivering re-railing works on an active infrastructure project. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with labouring or rail experience who are looking to build a long-term career in the rail and infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with rail maintenance and re-railing activitiesSupport site teams with general labouring dutiesWork safely within rail corridor environmentsHandle tools, materials and equipment as requiredFollow site safety procedures and project requirements
Requirements
1–2+ years’ experience in rail, construction or similar industryPrevious labouring experience in a site-based environmentBasic knowledge of rail components and procedures (desirable)Current Driver’s LicenceStrong work ethic and ability to work in a team
