Position Overview
Are you a passionate swimming teacher looking to progress your career? We are seeking a dedicated swimming teacher to assist in the day-to-day running of the Leisure Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Centre in the Manager's absence, ensuring safety, efficiency, and supervision of facility use by the public.
Responsibilities
1. Lead a small team of swimming teachers, receptionists, and lifeguards.
2. Oversee reception, payments, bookings, and administration.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, risk assessments, fire procedures, and emergency protocols.
4. Lock up the premises and ensure the building's security.
5. Operate and maintain electrical, disinfection, filtration, ventilation, and circulation systems in the plant room.
6. Cover poolside duties and teach swimming lessons when required.
Qualifications
Essential: Swimming Teacher qualifications, such as Swim England Level 1 and 2 or STA Award and Certificate.
