We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our National Security team, located at Sydney Airport catering facility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Provide support to the National Security & Compliance Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
* ABF B301 & B1555 Updates: Maintain staff lists for our SYD workforce and update ABF B301 & B1555 records as required.
* Security Identification Services: Assist in the management of security identification services, including ID Access requests, onboarding, offboarding at Port level.
* National Criminal History Checks: Ensure compliance with National Criminal History checks and assist in the investigation of workplace security incidents.
* Workplace Security Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace security incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Security Performance Monitoring: Monitor security performance, working closely with external auditors and undertaking internal audits to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
* New Staff Inductions: Participate in new staff inductions, ensuring all employees are aware of security requirements and expectations.
* Security Systems Network and Manpower: Manage security systems network and manpower requirements of the SYD facilities.
* Internal Security Audits: Conduct monthly internal security audits, as well as coordinate external safety audits.
* Contact Database Management: Maintain contact database for Australian Border Force compliance.
* Compliance Reporting: Issue monthly compliance reports to key stakeholders and management.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in Customs, ATO warehouse license applications, and similar administrative roles.
* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, demonstrated through previous experience in similar admin support roles.
* CCTV and Access Control Systems: Experience with CCTV systems and access control systems is highly desirable.
* EDMS: Proficient in using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
* Prioritization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under conflicting time pressures.
* Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Methodical approach, sound analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
* Communication Skills: Well-developed written and verbal communication influencing skills.
* Training and Assessment: Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is advantageous.
* Certification: Willingness to obtain a clear National Police Check as a requirement for this role.
