We are currently looking to bring onboard someone who can fill a diverse portfolio of insurance claims following insurable events.
Your new role
As a Construction Supervisor, your role will be dynamic and fluid, managing insurance repairs from the initiation of signed contracts, through to measuring up the job, to trade allocations, right through to repair completion and sign off.
We are looking for you to possess the following skills;
* Communicate proactively with policyholders, insurers and trade contractors
* Hands on approach to running jobs
* Ensure repairs are delivered to a high standard of quality and expertise.
* Project manage a range of residential property claims, from minor patch and paint to large loss
* Have excellent customer service skills and have an empathetic manner.
* Be quality focused on all times.
* Be able to work independently and as a strong team member when required.
* Manage your time effectively and efficiently.
* Be on top of any issues that may arise onsite and communicate changes to the scope of works to all stakeholders
About you
We are looking for a well presented, well organised and a self-motivated individual with hands-on building industry experience, who desires to progress their career and grow within a dynamic company.
You'll also have:
* Insurance Experience
* Previous residential building insurance industry experience.
* Relevant trade qualification (Cert 4 in Building and Construction)
* QBCC supervisor certification
* Current drivers' licence.
* Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel).
* Sound knowledge of National Construction Code (NCC).
