As a Senior Educator, you'll work within a small team of early childhood professionals to deliver SDN's high-quality, inclusive programs while building strong, meaningful relationships with children and families — supported by the wider SDN village.
About the team
SDN Bluebell is a modern, purpose-built early childhood education and care centre, conveniently located for families and educators.
We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, offering a nurturing and welcoming environment that promotes wellbeing, learning, and development for over 62 children.
About the role
In this role, you will:
* Collaborate with children to follow their interests and create engaging learning environments
* Support children's physical, emotional, and developmental needs
* Observe, document, and evaluate children's learning and development
* Create environments that promote trust, security, flexible routines, and smooth transitions
* Contribute positively to a supportive and inclusive team culture
About You
You will bring:
* Experience in a similar early childhood education role
* A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
* Working knowledge of the National Quality Standards
* A genuine interest in diversity, inclusion, and inclusive practice
* A valid Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid
* Sound understanding of children's development, health, hygiene, and nutritional needs
