Senior Kitchen Operations Manager
The role of Senior Kitchen Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality food products in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
This leadership position involves directing and supervising all kitchen personnel, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards, and controlling departmental costs to meet financial targets.
The successful candidate will have formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, extensive experience in middle to upper-level management within a large 4 or 5-star Hotel/Resort, and a current WA motor vehicle driver's license.
* Balancing personal preparation of high-quality food with supervising and directing all kitchen personnel.
* Interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers.
* Ensuring product quality and service standards are consistently high.
* Working closely with the Executive Chef on menu creation.
* Training and developing up to 40 employees – Chefs, Apprentices and other kitchen staff.
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
* Controlling and analyzing departmental costs on an ongoing basis.
* Devising initiatives and strategies to ensure financial targets are met.
