Qualifications, Education, and Skills
We are seeking a part-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia. The South Island department of Emergency Medicine provides immediate access to cardiac catheter lab, full-spectrum adult critical care, trauma service, subspecialty consulting services, neurosurgical care, pediatrics, pediatric ICU, and comprehensive surgical coverage.
Requisites
1. Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License
2. Desirable: Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Emergency Medicine
3. Mandatory: Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
4. Mandatory: Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
Applicants must hold CCFP-EM, FRCPC Emergency Medicine, or ABEM certification and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
Affiliation with the University of British Columbia's Island Medical Program offers teaching opportunities to medical students and residents.
