Job Description
The State Communications Centre is the primary point of contact for emergency medical services. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for receiving and prioritizing requests for ambulance services in a fast-paced environment.
* Receive and record ambulance service requests in a timely manner.
* Coordinate the dispatch of ambulance vehicles and resources using telephone, radio, and computer-aided dispatch systems.
* Provide pre-arrival instructions to patients and coordinate their movement as needed.
You will work closely with other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient response to emergencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* A Certificate IV in Ambulance Communications or equivalent experience approved by the relevant authorities.
* Current registration/licensure required for the role at all times during employment.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality is essential.

* A salary range of $99,761 to $107,896 per annum.
