Global Hydraulic Services – Forrestdale WA
Global Machining and Engineering Services was established in June 2021. The machine shop is co located in our Forrestdale workshop and complements our existing business, Global Hydraulic Services.
Located in Forrestdale, we service the mining, earthmoving, construction, food, maritime and similar industries. Jobs will be undertaken mainly in the Forrestdale workshop and onsite in the Perth metropolitan area.
Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Fitter & Turner/Machinist who is a motivated person with a good mechanical aptitude.

Full-time permanent job opportunities are available (after a probationary period) in a clean, safe workshop with an attractive pay package $100,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities
* Manual machining on a lathe, mill and horizontal borer
* Basic CNC set up and operating (programme and setup sheet supplied)
* Basic welding
* Measuring, hand sketching, QC and reporting
* Manufacture parts based off samples and/or drawings
* Maintain workshop equipment and work area
* Possibly some on-site works
Qualifications and skills
* Work to high quality standards and in a safe manner.
* Work with minimal supervision
* Understanding of OHS & Safe Work Practices
Desirable experience
* Line boring/welding and Horizontal boring
* Manufacturing hydraulic cylinder parts
* Mechanical fitting
Eligibility
