The role

Talent Focus is recruiting for an experienced Director of Service to lead a well-established Outside School Hours Care program located within a highly regarded school community in Bimbadeen Heights.

This opportunity would suit a current Director of Service, Coordinator, or experienced OSHC leader who is ready to step into the Responsible Person position and confidently lead a team through an exciting period of growth and development.

The Service
  • Before School Care: 7:00am – 9:00am
  • After School Care: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
  • 10.5 hours of weekly administration time
  • 38-hour full-time position
  • Average attendance numbers:
  • BSC: Approximately 30 children
  • ASC: Approximately 45 children
  • This service has a dedicated OSHC space within the school with its own kitchen as well as access to the school hall.
About the Role
  • Lead the daily operations of the service
  • Mentor and develop a team of educators
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, school leadership and the wider community
  • Drive compliance and quality outcomes
  • Oversee programming and service delivery
  • Support educators in managing behaviours and implementing consistent expectations
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture for children and staff

The service is supported by a dedicated Program Manager, providing additional leadership support and guidance.

About You
  • Strong OSHC Experience and enjoys being hands‐on and engaging in active play with the children.
  • A strong communicator who can build trust with families, staff and school stakeholders
  • Highly organised and proactive
  • Focused on building positive relationships and team culture
  • Experience managing and de‐escalating behaviours is essential
What you need
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, working towards or equivalent.
  • Experience in sensitive conversations with families and maintaining behavioural support plans
  • Confidence managing challenging behaviours and supporting children with additional needs
  • Strong understanding of compliance and operational requirements
