What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Planner to join our dynamic team. Your previous experience working in a development assessment and/ or a strategic planning role will help us succeed. Well-developed communication skills are a must, as is your practical knowledge of the Queensland land use planning framework. You will be delivering quality town planning advice and services to the Fraser Coast Community.

What you'll need for success:
* AQF level 7 (or above) in town planning recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA)
* Experience assessing development applications
* Experience in interpreting and applying legislation
* Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
* Demonstrated research, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Queensland Class "C" drivers' licence
What's nice to have:
* Experience in Local Government Development (Building/Planning)
* Membership or eligibility for membership of the Planning Institute of Australia
