The Role
As Project Manager, you will hold the reins of diverse, high-value projects. This is a true end-to-end role where you will influence everything from the initial tender interview to the final handover. You will be supported by a high-performing site team and an organization that prides itself on outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Delivery: Manage multiple projects from pre-construction and tender through to handover and defects.
* Leadership & Mentoring: Act as a natural leader, driving the career development and performance of your project team.
* Financial Oversight: Take full responsibility for project budgets, detailed programming, and financial reporting.
* Contract Management: Lead tender interviews, negotiate subcontractor contracts, and manage head-contractual requirements.
* Quality & Safety: Ensure every build exceeds building standards and meets rigorous EHSQ requirements.
Your Profile
You are a strategic thinker who understands that successful project management is as much about people as it is about programs.
* Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager for a Principal Contractor within the Australian market.
* Education: Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related discipline.
* Sector Knowledge: Experience across commercial, industrial, or institutional sectors is highly regarded.
* Leadership Style: A motivator who cares for their team and knows how to drive performance through engagement.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong skills in negotiation, contract letting, and budget management.
