Director of Commercial Excellence
The NSW Government is seeking an exceptional leader to drive commercial excellence in its digital platforms. As a key member of the Digital NSW team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of government services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic sourcing, procurement, and vendor management processes to align with organisational objectives.
* Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance with NSW Government policies and maximising value for money.
* Engage with vendors and industry partners to develop strategic partnerships and optimise digital product offerings.
* Oversee contract management, including negotiations and compliance monitoring, to secure optimal outcomes for the organisation.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and mitigate risks.
Essential Requirements:
* Significant experience in leading large-scale commercial teams and driving transformational change.
* Demonstrated expertise in procurement, sourcing, contract, and vendor management, with a strong understanding of government digital commercial operations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
* Adept at designing and implementing long-term strategies to ensure service continuity aligned with platform requirements and budget.

Benefits:
* Salary Grade 11/12, with a base salary starting at $149,739 per annum.
* Superannuation entitlements, plus other benefits as per NSW Government employment conditions.
