Permanent NFP Vacancy | Inner City Brisbane | Salary up to $125K + Super + Salary Sacrifice + AL (5 weeks)

**Your new company**

Hays is assisting a leading not-for-profit organisation located in inner city Brisbane who is seeking a Head of People and Culture superstar to join the team on a permanent basis.

**Your current role**

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Head of People & Culture will provide operational oversight for all People & Culture activities of the organisation.

This position has a key role in collaborating with all levels of management and leadership in implementing, monitoring, and reviewing organisational strategy as it relates to People & Culture.

Operationally the role leads the organisation in providing best practice in human resource planning and delivery, staff engagement, quality assurance, policy and procedure development and risk management (work health and safety) initiatives that will ensure the delivery of valued and quality service, focussed on enhancing organisational efficiency and effectiveness.

This role will also approve the fortnightly payroll; provide IR and wellbeing guidance to payroll and workforce planning; and support in coordinating documentation and activities for the HSQF accreditation process.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Post Graduate Qualifications in management/leadership would be well-regarded
- Experience in medium-sized not-for-profit organisation providing similar services
- Extensive knowledge of HRM legislation, policy frameworks and principles
- Understanding of risk and compliance requirements for a medium-sized enterprise
- Familiarity with relevant funding body streams is desirable
- Clear understanding of the professional ethical and legal responsibilities relevant to the position
- Demonstrated ability to engage others to understand and embrace organisational culture, directions, goals, and client service ethos
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire workgroups/teams to support high performance and client service outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to manage a multitude of complex tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent written communication skills
- Team player with a commitment to a collaborative working approach
- Willingness to undergo required background checks
- Up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations
- Right to work in Australia
