Maintenance Fitter

An opportunity currently exists for a Maintenance Fitter based in Cowra. The role will be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of all plant & construction machinery and assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance according to Australian Standards, relevant regulations and manuals for the Cowra operations.
What You'll Do:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement solutions to minimise downtime.
- Install, align, and adjust mechanical components for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role.
- Mechanical Fitter/Machinist Trade Certificate essential
- Forklift licence ( High Risk LF) preferred
- Welding Certificate (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Knowledge of tools, welding, and fabrication
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
MUST currently live in Australia.
