Business Development Manager – Granny Flats & Expandable Buildings
Full-Time | Camellia Location | On-site | Saturdays Required | OTE $300K

Backed by a successful entrepreneur and family who have over 50 years in the building industry we are a startup entering the Granny Flat and Expandable Building business. We're searching for an experienced Business Development Manager who understands the unique world of small-space living — modular buildings, expandable homes and granny flats.

This isn't a standard sales job.
We're looking for a Business Development Manager who takes pride in guiding customers through one of the most exciting decisions they'll ever make. Someone who shows up on a Saturday morning knowing that today could be the day a customer chooses their new home, studio, retreat, or investment and you're the person who makes that happen.
You will be the face of the business, the expert customers trust, and the leader who drives sales performance across our display homes and enquiry channels.
What your day looks like:
* Lead customer enquiries across phone, SMS, online, and in-person walk-ins
* Conduct showroom appointments that educate, inspire, and build confidence
* Prepare accurate quotes and negotiate to close
* Maintain a strong follow-up rhythm and manage an active sales pipeline
* Keep the CRM sharp - clean notes, progress updates, documents, handovers
* Collaborate with the design team on custom layouts and upgrades
* Work closely with production, accounts, customer service, and approvals to ensure seamless delivery from first contact to final handover
* Represent the brand professionally across all touchpoints
What We're Looking For
* Several years of successful Sales or Sales Management experience in expandable buildings, modular homes, granny flats, portable structures, tiny homes, or similar industries.
* A competitive drive with a track record of hitting (and exceeding) KPIs
* Proven ability to build rapport quickly and guide customers through a significant purchasing decision
* Strong communication skills across all channels
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail - especially in CRM usage
* Competent with quoting tools, spreadsheets, and sales systems
* Ability to work Saturdays (a key sales day in our industry)
