**Location: John Hunter Children's Hospital**

The John Hunter Children's Hospital (JHCH) Outpatient Department is a very busy service that will see approximately 27,000 children a year by 40 different specialists. To increase access to health services for rural communities and Aboriginal people clinics are conducted via outreach with the assistance of the coordinator.
**About The Role.**

The Executive Assistant plays a key role within the Administration Department, supporting the coordination of John Hunter Children's Hospital (JHCH) Our Executive Assistant works closing with our Acute Service manager in managing day to day workflow and prioritisation. You will provide a high-level secretarial support, using Health Roster, Dairy Management and assisting in recruitment and on boarding of staff. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, the experience to prioritise workloads.
- Monday to Friday which allows a great Work / Life balance
- Handle confidential materials and sensitive hospital communications discreetly
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
- Manage the executive's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel

- Relevant administrative qualifications and/or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and initiate action
- Strong organizational abilities with an eye for visual detail and tone
