Key Responsibilities:
* Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
* Provide technical expertise in pump station design, piping systems, process mechanical equipment, and water treatment facilities.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships.
* Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery within quality standards.
* Develop comprehensive reports and cutting-edge designs.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate sustainable practices into projects.
What We're Looking For:
* Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
* Proven experience as a Senior Engineer in the water industry is essential.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of senior water engineering experience is required.
* Strong analytical, design, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing work priorities.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
