Our laboratory requires a skilled Laboratory Technician to work in Cambridge, focusing on senior technician roles within environmental laboratories.
The laboratory conducts experiments with challenging materials including those exposed to hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen and other aggressive conditions.
This is a full-time position offering opportunities for domestic and international travel.
* A solid foundation in mechanical engineering along with an attention to detail is necessary.
* Prior experience in machinery assembly and hands-on problem solving is beneficial.
* The ability to work both independently as well as part of a high-performing team is crucial.

Bonus points are given if you have knowledge of gas chromatography, instrumentation and materials testing machines. Also data logging and analysis using Excel or materials testing using servo hydraulic machines, pressure testing would be valuable skills.
