The Role
The Finance Assistant is essential to the smooth running of the organisation's financial operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
The Finance Assistant will play an important role in managing the departments Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks, supporting the business to achieve its strategic goals.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Accounts Payable - entering and processing all invoices
- Accounts Receivable - debt collection, creating and sending invoices
- Reconciliations
- Expenses
- Assist in Admin tasks
- Prepare bank payments
- Ad-hoc Projects as required by the business
- Involved in process improvements and efficiencies
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar role.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- NSW State Government experience is beneficial.
