THE OPPORTUNITY
This role presents a unique opportunity for experienced accountants seeking to establish themselves in a regional area of Queensland. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
4. Offer forward-thinking business advice, including plans and forecasts
5. Analyse management reports for financial insights
6. Assist in budgeting and address cash flow issues
7. Provide strategies to improve financial performance
8. Guide in business structure selection and registration
9. Support in starting new businesses and ensure compliance
10. Manage corporate compliance and legal changes
11. Empower clients to run their businesses confidently
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
12. Holds a degree and either completed or nearly completed CA/CPA qualifications
13. Has at least 3 years business advisory experience in an Australian accounting firm
14. Demonstrated proficiency in tax compliance tasks
15. Familiarity with Xero and Xero Practice Manager is advantageous
16. Exhibits precision, quality, and efficiency in work
17. Possesses keen attention to detail and effective organizational abilities
18. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
19. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
