* Lead the creative vision and set the design language for Melbourne Park's future capital projects.
* Champion architectural and urban design excellence across all projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, architects, engineers, contractors, government agencies tenants operators etc..
About You:
This role requires an experienced project architect or senior designer who can make confident decisions balancing creativity with functionality while considering various stakeholders' needs. You should possess strong architectural or urban planning foundations, excellent communication skills to work effectively within complex stakeholder settings.A successful candidate would have a proven track record in leading consultants in delivering world-class public spaces as well as driving sustainable solutions through innovative thinking – including procurement practices (essential), knowledge exchange partnerships.
The ideal applicant has:
- Experience working on large-scale development initiatives that span several years
- Strong leadership qualities combined with problem-solving abilities allowing them stay focused under pressure periods–this includes ability manage conflicts between team members when necessary;
Demonstrated proficiency operating multiple platforms simultaneously—technical expertise preferably strong programming languages SQL etc.;
