We are currently seeking an Administration Officer to join our Canberra office in a permanent, full-time capacity, supported and reporting into the Office Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment and enjoys supporting both office operations and project teams.
About the Role
As the Administration Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the EDGE Canberra office, while providing project and business support to our engineering teams.
Your EDGE responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating office supplies, stationery, and general purchasing
* Supporting engineers with site inspection filing and bookings
* Answering incoming calls and managing general office enquiries
* Liaising with internal teams across EDGE’s national and international offices
* Assisting with quarterly office events and corporate activities
* Data entry and project administration support
* Phone Screening and assisting with Canberra recruitment
* Helping run - First Day Induction's - for the Canberra team
* Proposal preparation and project input within EDGE systems
* Preparing certification and project documentation
* Liaising with clients regarding invoicing requirements
* Booking travel and accommodation for staff
* Supporting fleet vehicle coordination
* Coordinating property maintenance and office-related queries
About You
To be EDGE- successful in this role, you will bring:
* Previous experience in office administration (engineering or construction experience highly regarded but not 100% necessary)
* Strong communication skills and a professional approach
* Good Energy
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confidence working in a team-focused, but deadline-driven environment
* A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and support across the business
* Can grow into another role long term, with strong career progression
