Position Overview
In this position, you will be required to perform:
Installation and fabrication of electrical components including cable and substations
Use of calibrated instruments for management of continuity of electrical circuits and fields
Work within a live plant environment within the safe working absolutes of the project
Glanding and termination of LV/MV cables
Installation and inspection of hazardous-area cable glands
Installation and sealing of Roxtec cable transit systems
Conducting EEHA and ITR inspections, documentation and certification

3:1 roster, FIFO to Karratha with direct flights from Perth and Brisbane & flights from all major cities
Fly home morning of day 21, paid at ordinary hours, home the same day
RDO is accrued, choose to have it paid during RNR or at the end of your contract
Full-time, permanent employment (4 weeks of annual leave, 10 days of personal leave)
$5.40 per hour site allowance
Severance payment of 2 × base hourly rate per week

Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrated experience in a similar position, preferably within the construction industry for a minimum of 3 years
First Aid
CPR & LVR
Construction White Card
Gas Test Atmospheres (preferred)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical screening
Previous Bechtel/LNG/major project experience is desirable
Experience in cable glanding and terminations
Experience with hazardous-area cable glands
Experience with Roxtec cable transits
Experience with EEHA and ITR inspections and certification requirements
Additional Information
This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices – i.e. wireless headphones, iPads, smart watches - are also not permitted on site.
