You will play a key role in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for our residents through quality gardening, landscaping, and general maintenance work.What You’ll DoMaintain all outdoor areas to a high standard — including lawns, hedging, pruning, mulching, and weeding.Ensure pathways, roads, and recreational areas are safe, clean, and free from plant overgrowth or trip hazards.Undertake minor landscaping and garden refurbishment works as required.Perform pest and disease control, tree trimming, and replacement of unsightly or dying plants.Remove garden waste and monitor condition of infrastructure, reporting any damage.Assist with pool testing and maintenance.Maintain and perform basic repairs on irrigation systems and gardening equipment.Carry out general light maintenance duties across the community.Uphold a professional, organised, and safety-conscious approach to all tasks.What You’ll BringProven experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or horticulture roles.Sound knowledge of plant species, fertilisers, pest control, and irrigation.Ability to carry out basic machinery and equipment maintenance.Strong attention to detail, with pride in presentation and quality work.Empathy and professionalism in all resident interactions.Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.Flexible, proactive attitude and commitment to WH&S practices.RequirementsGeneral gardening and maintenance skills.Current driver’s licence.Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).Previous experience in a lifestyle, retirement, or aged care community highly regarded.Why You’ll Love It HereBe part of a supportive and purpose-driven teamStaff rewards and recognition for your great workEnjoy discounted stays at Ingenia Holiday Parks for you, your family, and friendsAccess to our Refer a Friend Bonus – earn up to $1,500Opportunities to grow your career with a fast-growing national companyAbout IngeniaIngenia is an ASX-listed property group that owns, operates and develops lifestyle, rental and holiday communities across Australia.
