About The Role
As the Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our school environment. Reporting to the Principal, Business Manager or nominated delegate, you will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and presentation of our facilities and grounds.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Perform general groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, weeding, planting, and maintaining sports fields and gardens.
* Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, including the safe handling of chemicals and equipment maintenance.
* Coordinate and carry out general repairs and maintenance on school infrastructure (excluding licensed trades work).
* Support the setup and logistical needs of school events, including arranging and moving furniture.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and school equipment.
This role would suit someone with a strong work ethic, practical maintenance skills, and a commitment to creating a safe and well-maintained school environment.
