The Role
Reporting to the Supervisor, your primary responsibility will include performing planned and breakdown maintenance tasks safely and effectively while maintaining a high quality of work and housekeeping standards. This is a residential position based in Mount Isa, working a Monday to Friday dayshift only roster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Performing planned and breakdown maintenance tasks
* High level of work and housekeeping standards
* Ability to work closely with our business units and leaders on an ongoing basis
You will have the following skillset and attributes:
* Trade qualification – Plumbing
* Gas Fitting (an advantage)
* Manual drivers' licence
* Recent field experience is highly regarded
* Personal role modelling and delivery of high safety standards
* An emphasis on continual improvement and development is essential
* Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills
* Ability to work positively in a team environment or unsupervised
* A sound understanding of workplace OH&S
* Flexible attitude, strong customer focus and excellent time management skills
* Willingness to work extra hours when required
* Ability to achieve results
