With over 20 years' experience in strata, commercial cleaning, building management and garden maintenance they are a forward-thinking company which services over 550 buildings and whose mission is to add value through quality, integrity, responsiveness, technology and teamwork with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Due to the growth of the business a new opportunity has become available for an outstanding Horticulturist with a keen eye for detail to run the garden and maintenance program operations.
**The opportunity**:
- Manage the cleaning and gardening team members effectively in accordance with operational requirements
- Quoting and estimating jobs
- Quality control and maintaining the highest standards of garden planting and maintenance
- Manage, maintain and operate platform systems and equipment in an effective manner to ensure optimal functionality
- Provide exceptional & timely customer service to internal & external stakeholders (tenants, owners, contractors, managers etc.)
- Manage contractors and service schedules so as to ensure timely repairs and mínimal loss of plant functions
- Focus on continual improvement initiatives for complexes within the portfolio
**Skills and experience we are seeking**:
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in horticulture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level computer skills with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proven experience in problem solving with continuous improvement methods
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Leadership skills
- The ability to build rapport with people of all levels
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, team-based environment
