About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Officer to join our team in the Midwest Gascoyne area. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and transparent financial dealings.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage financial systems and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
* Process payroll and maintain accurate financial records.
* Execute end-of-month processing, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
* Respond effectively to matters impacting contractual compliance obligations.
* Prepare current and forecasted financial information for senior management.
Requirements
* Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification and experience.
* Solid knowledge of accounting practices and proficiency in accounting software.
* Analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Working rights in Australia as an Australian/New Zealand citizen or holding a relevant visa.
