About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Graphic Assistant in Apparel to support the setup and specification of artworks for production. If you have a keen eye for design and enjoy collaborating with like-minded creatives, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
1. Updating artwork specifications as required for all departments;
2. Uploading artwork specifications to the GBSS system for all departments;
3. Liaising with Apparel Designers for new artwork and colour changes;
4. Developing yardages as requested by Designers;
5. Ensuring compliance with Target IP requirements by conducting research and documenting findings;
6. Liaising with factories for graded art/spec requirements;
7. Maintaining a safe working environment by identifying and reporting safety concerns and leading by example.
What We Are Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. A relevant tertiary qualification;
2. 1-2 years of experience in graphic or textile design;
3. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop;
4. Competency with Microsoft Office;
5. The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment;
6. An open mindset and willingness to receive feedback;
7. A keen eye for detail;
8. An understanding of our customers' needs;
9. The ability to manage competing deadlines;
10. The capacity to build strong working relationships and achieve objectives;
11. Clear and effective communication skills;
12. Resilience, adaptability, and self-awareness;
13. A strong eye for detail and creative flair.
