We're looking for a superstar ECT to take on a dual role as ECT/Ed Leader, in a smaller centre - to start off as permanent part-time with set days/guaranteed hours, with the view towards becoming full-time in future if they wish. Flexible options totally up for discussion

Bonus but definitely not essential; if you're bilingual in Arabic, Greek or Italian, that would be fabulous. We're across the street from a Our Lady of Mount Carmel School/Parish so we have a significant contingent of families from those cultures.

What you'll be responsible for:
* Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Mentor and support educators to enhance their professional practice and program delivery.
* Actively engage in fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
* Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the local community.
* Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and all relevant regulations.
* Support children's individual learning and development goals while promoting wellbeing and resilience.
* Provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Observe, evaluate and record children's development.
* Contribute to the continual improvement of our business.
* Ensure our Philosophy, Policies and Procedures are upheld.
Does this sound like you?
* A Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent, recognised by ACECQA).
* Current NESA accreditation
* A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check
* Preferred: Current first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, asthma management, child protection and Red Nose Training (all of our Educators have these, as paid for by the company)
* A current certificate in CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report children and young people at risk
* A deep understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and current best practices in early childhood education.
* Proven leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative approach.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
* A genuine passion for fostering curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning in young children.
