About the Job
Reporting to a Manager, this role will be based at a facility. The job involves assisting with tasks to support day-to-day operations of a team. Activities may include tractor operations, chemical spraying, hand planting, plant sampling and general trial maintenance.
Due to the outdoor nature of the role, work patterns will vary according to the weather, approximately 2-5 days per week from Monday – Friday, with fulltime hours likely over peak periods.
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to follow procedures and instructions, attention to detail and work with a close-knit team. You will be an effective communicator, maintain a positive attitude and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake field work including trial maintenance (weeding and hoeing).
* Planting and sampling of plants (picking leaves, flowers etc).
* Assess and record data.
* Opportunities for tractor related operations.
* Spray pesticides as/if required.

* Ability to work outdoors, including manual field work.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain concentration.
* Good physical fitness.
* Able to follow procedures and instructions regarding safety.
