About the Role

* This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our Radiation Oncology team, providing broad-based training and experience in the management of oncological patients.
Key Responsibilities:
">
* Participate in departmental teaching, multidisciplinary team meetings, and radiation treatment planning under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist.
* Administer over 1400 courses of radiotherapy annually across the district using modern techniques and state-of-the-art technology.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a complex and challenging clinical environment, prioritizing patient care and safety.
Requirements:
">
* MBBS or equivalent degree, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* At least three years' post-graduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise in managing oncological patients.
* Ability to work independently in a supervised environment and participate in overtime and on-call work as required.
* Interest in gaining entry into accredited Radiation Oncology training in the future.
* Willingness to teach junior medical staff and participate in research projects.
