About the role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Office Administrator to support administrative, quoting and accounting functions within our company. You will support management and the team by ensuring accurate quoting, invoicing and administrative processes. The role offers consistent part-time hours.
Key responsibilities include:
* Basic bookkeeping/accounts (time entry, accounts payable/receivable)
* Managing incoming enquiries, emails and phone calls
* Client communication
* Assisting with job bookings, documentation and record keeping
* Project reporting and correspondence
* General administration and workflow management
* Maintaining organised digital files and systems
About you:
You will be highly organised, confident communicating with clients and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
* Previous administration and bookkeeping experience (Xero experience preferred)
* Sound MS Office ability in Word, Outlook & Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence dealing with clients, consultants and contractors
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* A proactive, calm and professional approach
