Based in Western Sydney this support role is an opportunity to work within a beautiful horticultural, public space setting.
Funded by government the various gardens provide for visitor experience, not-for-profit fundraising, digital engagement, tourism, planning, major project delivery, commercial investment, sustainable resource and asset management, events and recreation.
Supporting the Senior Assets Coordinator, you will assist in the delivery, asset management and facilities maintenance programs to ensure all works and services are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations and comply with relevant government legislation, policies, and health and safety, environmental and heritage requirements.
You will supervise contractors undertaking preventative maintenance activities as directed, including coordinating access and will contribute to the preparation of documents and stocktaking reports.
You will also ensure all works are managed and reported through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (MAINPAC) to ensure record and data integrity.
This will include reviewing regular reports, including monthly property management reporting, and providing advice regarding the ongoing performance of properties to support decision making of the management team.
Suitable candidates will have experience in purchase order management and budget administration.
You will also have a background in the building trade or tertiary qualifications in property, facilities or project management and/or equivalent relevant experience in assets / facilities management.
You will ideally have a building trades background for this role.
A current driver’s licence is required.

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
