OverviewMECCA is currently seeking a Salesforce Administrator & Functional Consultant to join our Digital team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.The Role You Could PlayThe Salesforce Administrator & Functional Consultant is responsible for administering, maintaining, and enhancing the Salesforce platform while also acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.This role ensures Salesforce remains stable, secure, and efficient, while enabling continuous improvement by understanding requirements and designing and delivering functional solutions.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical platform expertise with functional consulting skills to optimise Service Cloud and related applications in support of business objectives.Key responsibilitiesAdminister Salesforce environments, oversee security, data governance, integrations, and ensure reliable system performanceConfigure and optimise Case Management, Service Console, Knowledge Base, and SLAs to enhance agent productivity and customer experiencePartner with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, configure Salesforce features, and deliver projects and enhancementsAct as the key Salesforce expert, providing clear updates and technical input in workshops and process mappingWork with vendors, ensure quality delivery, and support CI/CD deployments and system integrationsMaintain functional/technical documentation, embed best practices, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer to BAU supportProvide advanced Salesforce support, lead incident resolution and post-mortemsWhat You Will BringYou will be an experienced Salesforce professional with robust Service Cloud expertise and a proven ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, bring a customer-first mindset, and are confident collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.3+ years' experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Functional ConsultantHands-on expertise with Service Cloud, including case management, omni-channel, knowledge base, and SLAsStrong skills in Salesforce configuration, automation (flows, workflows, process builder), and data managementProficiency in SOQL/SOSL, platform tools, and understanding of Salesforce integrations (e.g. CTI, Amazon Connect, ERP, Marketing)Experience evaluating and implementing AppExchange solutions, with exposure to Einstein Bots and Next Best ActionFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Azure pipelines) and vendor managementExcellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesSalesforce ADM201 certification - preferredExperience with Marketing Cloud, Loyalty Management, or advanced reporting - Highly desirableYour Life At MECCAWhilst we are singularly focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn't be possible without an incredible team that is guided by our MECCA values and motivated each and every day to be solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and have a bit of fun along the way!
