About the role
As a Skylight installer at Hunter Premium Skylights, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of high-quality skylights, attic ladders and ventilation for residential and commercial properties in the hunter region. This full-time position is also flexible for casual and subcontract positions offers the opportunity to work with a leading provider of Velux skylights in the Hunter contributing to the company's success in delivering exceptional customer service and top-notch products
What you'll be doing
* Completing the professional installation of skylights, attic ladders, ventilation and solar redilight systems to industry standards
* Performing skilled carpentry and roofing work, including framing, roofing, and finishing tasks
* Identifying and resolving any installation or maintenance issues in a timely manner
* Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive client experience
* Collaborating with the wider team to maintain efficient project workflows
* Adhering to all workplace health and safety regulations
* Keeping clients home clean and tidy during our projects
What we're looking for
* Qualified carpenter or labourer position available
* Strong technical skills in carpentry roofing, and installation techniques
* Minimum 6 months of roofing experience required
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
* Willing to learn
