Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of strategic planning, administration and support services to the organisation. This includes Strategy & Planning, Finance, People and Talent, Facilities Management & Infrastructure, and Information Technology Services.
The role has a broad remit across all areas of the organisation with wide-ranging responsibilities with respect to the large professional staff cohort and oversight of other non-academic matters.
The Senior Leadership will represent the Vice Chancellor on external boards and committees relevant to the Operations Portfolio and play a lead role externally in policy advocacy and response.
The Senior Leadership will also assist the Vice Chancellor with strategy development and implementation, risk management and reporting to the governing University Council.

About the Person:
We are seeking an experienced senior executive with strong and inclusive leadership skills, relevant qualifications, ideally with a post graduate degree, and extensive experience in a similar leadership role within a multifaceted and complex organisation.
Previous experience in the leadership of functional areas that include planning, finance, IT, physical and digital infrastructure, and human resources will be important.
A proven track record in successfully leading a multidisciplinary team, a highly collaborative approach and a demonstrated ability to manage, prioritise and drive strategic direction across a diverse portfolio will be key to success.
