- The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Specialist Case Manager to provide a critical role at Corrections Victoria.
- The case management role will necessitate that SCMs demonstrate outstanding offender engagement and case management skills, including excellent motivational interaction interviewing techniques and establishment of relevant plans and reports.
- In addition, it is expected that the SCM will possess excellent writing skills demonstrated through the ability to prepare Departmental and Ministerial briefings, general external correspondence and reports to key stakeholders. SCMs will also be responsible for the meticulous management of CCS offender files.
- The position will be required to adhere to local or regional rostering arrangements and other staffing management practices as directed.
- Some of your duties will include:
- Promote and demonstrate a continuous improvement philosophy and model case management practices on best practice literature and research, engaging in effective quality assurance practices and procedures.

**About you**
- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in achieving client outcomes through advanced case management of overly complex individuals, including proven needs assessment and intervention skills.
- Previous experience in working within a legislative framework
- Qualifications
- A relevant social degree or qualification is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in working within a legislative framework (preferable).
