Offer description

Looking for an exceptional human

Somewhere between muddy boots, deep belly laughs, and quiet moments of wonder, there is a role waiting for the right person.

Our client is seeking a qualified and or experienced educator to join their paddock-based, nature-led play environment located in Cawarral in Central Queensland. This is a hands-on, heart-led role for someone who feels more at home under open skies than under fluorescent lights, and who understands that childhood is something to be supported, not managed.

Learning here does not follow strict timetables or rigid programs. It unfolds through stick collections, insect discoveries, risky play, spontaneous questions, and stories told on logs.

About The Role

This position involves spending each day outdoors, supporting children through play, exploration, and genuine connection in a calm, safe, and nature-rich environment.

You Will

Spend your days outdoors in all seasons in a paddock-based play setting
Facilitate play with children ranging in ages from 1-5years
Support children through child-led play, exploration, and meaningful connection
Observe and respond to children's interests rather than directing their play
Be comfortable supporting age-appropriate risky play
Create a nurturing, inclusive environment for children with a diverse range of needs
Use technology to write daily reflections/diaries for families about children's experiences
