Your New Role
As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled team delivering complex power system studies for generation and transmission/distribution networks. You will work on renewable energy connections, registration, and commissioning under the Australian National Electricity Rules. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge projects and collaboration with global experts in power systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct power system modelling and analysis for network operators, regulators, developers, and OEMs.
* Deliver technical reports and present findings to clients.
* Work independently on complex tasks while building strong client relationships.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, IEEE).
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems (Master's preferred).
* 4+ years of industry experience, ideally within the Australian market.
* Proficiency in power system analysis tools: PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and Python.
* Strong knowledge of power electronics control systems; OEM experience advantageous.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with renewable energy integration and commissioning processes.
