The Role
Business Development Specialist - Medical & Specialty South NSW
This position involves managing customer relations and supervising daily sales operations for Specialty and Medical Gases within an assigned sales region in NSW.
1. Liaise proactively with your customer network to maintain and grow current customer accounts.
2. Generate new business and seek out prospects to maintain a profitable sales territory and expand customer outreach.
3. Develop your knowledge of products and value proposition to effectively communicate with current and potential customers.
4. Produce proposals, detailed costings and contractual documents to ensure all transactions deliver maximum profit to the business.
5. Monitor market trends through customer and supplier liaison and through attending industry events.
6. Attend industry events and networking activities to stay informed about market developments.
7. Collaborate with other teams including sales team members, depots and customer service to drive customer solutions.
Skills & Experience
* You should have 2-3 years' experience within a similar customer account focused role or Medical Device Sales experience.
* You must be motivated and sales driven with the ability to understand and articulate technical information.
