Your responsibilities will include:
Meal Preparation: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.Dining Experience: Set up and maintain a welcoming dining environment, enhancing the mealtime experience.Hygiene Standards: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the culinary team to prepare and serve meals that meet residents' nutritional needs and preferences.Ensure the dining areas are clean, organized, and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for residents.Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage and handling of food items.Assist in inventory management, monitoring stock levels, and reporting needs for replenishment.Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, addressing any dietary concerns or special requests.What We're Looking For Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service.Attention to Detail: Keen eye for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication skills to interact with residents and team members.Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving needs of the kitchen and dining services.Experience: Previous experience in food services or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.Availability: Part-time position: 30-75 hrs/fortnight, with shifts available Monday to Sunday.Requirements A current National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).About Us We are one of Australia's largest and most diverse not-for-profit organisations, with a legacy of care and compassion spanning over 140 years.
