Payroll Officer - Immediate Start (Temp to Perm)

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join a busy finance team based with a highly regarded facility services company.
This is an immediate start temporary opportunity, initially for 2 months with strong potential for extension, supporting a high-volume weekly payroll function.
You will be working within a collaborative finance team processing payroll across multiple entities and supporting the end-to-end payroll cycle.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end weekly payroll processing for approximately 750-800 employees and subcontractors
* Managing payroll across multiple entities
* Processing adjustments, amendments and off-cycle payments
* Responding to payroll queries from employees
* Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with award-based pay structures.
About You
* Proven experience in high-volume payroll processing
* Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Experience with ELMO or similar payroll/time & attendance systems is beneficial
