About the role
Hervey Bay Sports Club Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Duty Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in Hervey Bay, Queensland and will play a crucial part in the overall management and operations of our vibrant hospitality establishment.
What you'll be doing
* Assist the General Manager in overseeing all daily operations of the club,
* Develop and implement strategic plans to drive continuous improvement and growth
* Lead and motivate a team of dedicated hospitality professionals
* Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards
* Hold a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
* Hold a valid RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) certificate
* Build strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and the local community
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry
* Experience specifically in clubs or licensed venues management
* Proven track record of driving operational excellence and financial performance
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills
* Thorough understanding of hospitality industry regulations, best practices, and trends
* Ability to work collaboratively and think strategically
