The ANZ Supply Chain Manager position is a key senior role charged with driving operational efficiencies and shaping/advancing the organization's competitiveness and customer satisfaction. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.

As an autonomous role reporting into the Lead of Production and Supply Chain ANZ, you will be building the frameworks, systems and processes from the ground up. You will thrive in the opportunity to research, listen, analyse and design the requirements for this diverse business in the primary industry sector.
**Key elements of the role include**:
**Strategy and Leadership**:
- Further develop and improve the company's Supply Chain strategies, plans and related systems and processes.
- Develop long-term strategic business plans and detailed annual budgets for overall Supply Chain group/activities.
- Plan, direct and co-ordinate the Group supply chain activities to ensure the supply chain function contributes to the achievement of short, medium and long-term Company objectives.
- Prepare plans for enhancements to supply, warehouse and distribution practices to promote greater supply chain efficiency and delivery performance, including alternative sourcing of critical supplies, dual supply, early supplier involvement, and any other applicable practices.
- Review, recommend and implement warehousing solutions which may include owned facilities, leased facilities, 3PL.
- Identify and implement techniques and technologies which enhance supply chain operations, including but not limited to improved IT systems.
- Develop and establish a robust S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, integrated with sales, product management, production, research, finance, procurement, logistics and customer service functions.
- Direct and control the storage of products by obtaining assessments of storage options, directing the planning and maintenance of storage and inventory systems, and controlling stock levels of critical supplies such as packaging, pallets and other consumables.
**Logistics and Distribution**:
- Establish a suitable/appropriate Distribution Network, including management of third-party freight and logistics providers with regard cost and service level.
- Identify and establish optimal infrastructure and operating model/partner(s) to cost effectively and reliably operate the Distribution Network.
- Manage/monitor ongoing relationships and results of Distribution partners via appropriate metrics and communication that ensures optimal performance with respect to cost, delivery, accuracy, and minimum product damage.
- Continually focus on customer satisfaction by improving flexibility, responsiveness, order status communication and ensurance of delivery to our customer promise.
**Inventory Management and Demand Planning**:
- Implement inventory control techniques and demand forecasting to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, quality, and production teams to develop, and appropriately communicate, accurate demand and supply forecasts.
- Ensure that inventory and production plans align with demand forecasts.
**Human Resources Development**:
- Manage and lead Supply Chain staff selection, evaluation, training, development, and utilisation.
- Lead, develop and motivate staff, creating an internal environment that encourages and rewards superior performance.
- Direct the Company's Supply Chain Team to ensure they meet all targets and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
**Statutory and Risk Commitments**:
- Ensure all Supply Chain activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
